public-transport.net ist die Homepage einer österreichischen Freundesgruppe deren Hobby es ist, öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zu fotografieren. Wir machen eine Menge Reisen um unserem Hobby zu frönen und stellen es dann ins Netz, damit sich auch andere daran erfreuen.
public-transport.net is the site of a group of Austrian friends, who want to show their hobby - making pics of public transport vehicles- to other people. We are travelling a lot and show the pics then in the web.
FAQ: Warum ist die Homepage nicht einheitlich aufgebaut?
Das liegt daran, dass es sie einerseits schon einige Jahre gibt, andererseits daran, dass uns einfach die Zeit fehlt immer alles auf den aktuellen Stand nach zu ziehen. Dazwischen gab es den Versuch mithilfe einer Datenbank einfacher arbeiten zu können und so haben wir schon vier verschiedene Erscheinungsformen die sich hier wiederfinden.

Why does the site not have one look-and-feel?
One reason is that the page exists for more than 15 years now, and we simply don't have the time to transfer the old pages to a more modern look like. And as we in between tried to work simpler with a database we now have four different looks. We are sorry for that, but we will invest our time to bring more pics from other places to you and not to pimp old sites.

Ja, mit ein paar Ausnahmen aus der Anfangszeit. Und falls uns jemand welche schicken will: nein danke, wir schaffen es schon kaum unsere eigenen Bilder auf zu arbeiten...
Are all pics from you?
Yes, except some pics from the first years (e.g. Bus Barcelona or trolley Kapfenberg). And if there is somebody who wants to send us pics: please don't do that we even don't have enough time to handle our own pics.
