Kosice ist die zweitgrößte slowakische Stadt und hat rund 200.000 Einwohner. Es kommen neben den bewährten knapp 100 T3 auch 24 T6A5 und KT8D5 zum Einsatz, von letzteren waren ursprünglich 40 Stück im Einsatz, allerdings wurden mittlerweile 10 nach Miskolc/Ungarn, 3 nach Strausberg/Deutschland und 4 nach Sarajewo/Bosnien und Herzegowina und 2 Stück nach Brünn/Tschechien verkauft.
