Basel ist die drittgrößte Stadt der Schweiz und liegt am Dreiländereck Schweiz - Frankreich - Deutschland. Basel hat ca. 165.000 Einwohner und ein Straßennetz mit 1000mm Spurweite. Es gibt zwei große Strassenbahnunternehmen, die Basler Verkehrsbetriebe BVB und die Baselland Transport (BLT). Unter anderem gibt es auch Bilder eines Berner Fahrzeugs, das wegen der Combinokrise in Basel aushilft.

Basel is the third-largest town in Switzerland/Europe and is situated at the borderlines of Switzerland - France and Germany. Basel has approx. 165.000 inhabitants and a 1000mm gauge tramway network.
