MAN NL 223 GNC

At the ends of 2001, TMB obteeined two series of CNC MAN buses and one serie of IVECO. This buses are MAN NL 223 GNC. The two series were the 1500-1509 one and the 1700-1709. Thechnicali, they don't have any difference between them excep in the gear box (ZF 5 HP 500 in the 1500's and VOITH D 854.3 in the 1700's) and their bodyworks are from Castrosua ( CS 40 City). Although the bodywork is the same that IVECO, they have a big difference in the rear place of the bus because MAN engines only occupy the low area and the rear part has a windscreen (IVECO engines occupay all the rear area and don't have windscreen). Like the last MAN buses, they have all-low floor and teh deseign of the seats is "Cerdà". The walls are yelow and blue. The gas depots are in the roof of the bus.
A few time later, in 2002, TMB bought a new serie (1710-1724). This buses are the same commercial name (MAN NL 223 F GNC)although their true name is MAN NL 243 F GNC. They are identical at the previous serie.
