Lodz

Lodz ist Polens drittgrößte Stadt Polens und auch Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Wojewodschaft und befindet sich ca. 125 km südwestlich von Warschau. Innerstädtisch wird der Straßenbahnverkehr durch die MPK (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne) - Łódź Spółka z o.o. organisiert, die Überlandstraßenbahnlinien (43, 43BIS, 46) werden durch andere Gesellschaften betrieben. Das 1000mm Netz verfügt über 14 innerstädtische und drei Überlandlinien. Der Fuhrpark erstreckt sich von traditionellen Typen wie 805N bis hin zu Niederflurmodellen wie Cityrunner und Pesa 122.

Tram services in the city are provided by MPK (Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacyjne) - Łódź Spółka z o.o., while the regional tram lines (43, 43BIS, 46) are organised by other providers. The 1000m gauge network has some 14 local and three regional lines. The trams in service consist of traditional 805N up to modern Cityrunner and Pesa 122 low floor trams.
