Schwerin liegt im Nordosten Deutschlands und hat rund 97.000 Einwohner, außerdem verfügt die Stadt über vier normalspurige Straßenbahnlinienmit einer Linienlänge von 40,5 km. Die Flotte ist total erneuert, die T3D wurden u.a. nach Almaty und Daugavpils verkauft.
