Gatow museum

Gliding flights took place here from around 1925, from 1935 there was a military airfield here, which was briefly used by the Soviets in 1945 and then by the British until June 1994. The museum was then established here.

The official name is: The Militärhistorisches Museum der Bundeswehr – Flugplatz Berlin-Gatow (Bundeswehr Museum of Military History – Berlin-Gatow Airfield; formally known as Luftwaffenmuseum der Bundeswehr)
