Typ A stellt mit 193 gelieferten Doppeltriebwagen (entspricht etwa 64 Sechswagen-Garnituren) das gros der Garnituren, davon sind Anfang 2023 noch 147 im Einsatz, sechs Doppeltriebwagen wurden nach Nürnberg verkauft. Die Baujahre sind 1967 bis 1984.

Type A makes up the bulk of the trainsets with 193 double railcars delivered (corresponds to about 64 six-car sets), of which 147 are still in service at the beginning of 2023, six double trainsets were sold to Nuremberg. The years of construction are 1967 to 1984.
